Birthday card with Gina K Designs Poppies and Peonies stamp set

Image
Hello all!  The newest Gina K release is here and I have a birthday card made with the new Poppies and Peonies stamp set to share. I used the huge floral cluster from the set and colored it with alcohol marker in bright colors. I also added white highlights and die cut it with coordinating dies.  Next I did simple ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks and splattered some metallic paint and water. I adhered the florals with foam tape and stamped sentiment from the same set in black ink directly on to a background.  Lastly I added few gems from my stash and that's it! Miss Ink Stamps Threeline Stencil

Image
Hi! I am in the Miss Ink Stamps blog with a super moody autumn birthday card featuring the Scene Builder: Treeline Stencil and Eieio Frame die set from Miss Ink Stamps.  I started with my background. I used the Treeline stencil and array of Distress Oxide inks to create this moody fall inspired forest. I added water and metalic splatters to imitate rain and to add shine.  I wanted to keep this card simple and with focus on the background so decided to use alphabet from the Eieio Frame die set - cut from black cardstock.  I arranged, then adhered my greeting to top portion of my card panel with clear glue and added few Dazzle Stars.  Visit Miss Ink Stamps for all the products. That's it!  Thank you for stopping by!  Anna

Blue Violets birthday card

Image
Hi!  Today's card is made with Gina K Designs Blue Violets stamp set from their February release.  I started with stamping images from the stamp set on watercolor paper with Amalgam black ink and colour them in with Karin Markers.  For card front I chose to use speciality cardstock with subtle linen detail. I cut it to be slightly smaller than card base and stamped greeting from Birthday Cheer Mini stamp set .  After cutting out my coloured images I adhered them below sentiment with foam squares and added highlights with white gel pen.  To finish this card off I decided to use silver metallic jewels from Pinkfresh Studio and some Nuvo drops.  Follow link below to visit Gina K Designs shop➡️ ginakdesigns.com Supplies used to make this card Blue Violets stamp set   Birthday Cheer Mini stamp set  Thanks for stopping by!  See you soon  Anna

Second generation stamping with new Gina K Designs September 2022 release.

Image
Hello Everyone!  Today's card features the newly released Warmest Winter Wishes stamp set from Gina K Designs September 2022 Release.   For my card, I decided to do first and second-generation stamping. I wanted this to be both simple and full of depth and using this particular technique allowed me to achieve that. My first step was to stamp one of the silhouette winter trees with Gina K Designs Christmas Pine Dye Ink . I stamped it once and instead of reinking my stamp - I stamped with it again. I also used the Fresh Asparagus Dye Ink from Gina K Designs and continued with stamping until I was happy with my background.  My next step was to stamp the greeting from the same set directly onto my card front. I used Gina K Designs Amalgam Obsydian Ink.  To finish this card I added metallic splatters and a few white and light blue Nuvo drops. I also rounded off the edges of the card front and adhered it to a slightly larger card base with foam tape.  I ha...

Thank you card with Altenew Paint-a-flower Coral Sunset

Image
Hello lovely people!  I'm back with my latest card made with Altenew paint a flower Coral Sunset stamp set.   Autumn is favourite time of the year. I love the muted colours, foggy mornings and cool evenings. I wanted to say hello to all the beauty of this half of the year with darker florals and eye catching background.  My first step here was to stamp and colour this beautiful stamp set from Altenew. My go to watercolor paper is the one from Crafter's Companion . I used my favourite Daniel Smith's watercolours.  I had so much fun with all the violets and blues. I like to use unexpected shades on my florals.  I also added details with a white gel pen.  I used scissors to cut the image out. I love fussy cutting. I could do it all day, it is very relaxing to me. For the background, I decided to use one of the darker violets from my watercolor pallette. I used broad paintbrush and lots of water. Before painting I taped of the card edges with washi tape. ...
